Drink, Slay, Love by Sarah Beth Durst is probably one of her best works, but they are all so wonderfully conceived and written that it's almost impossible to pick the very best book. Drink, Slay, Love is definitely in the top two or three, though. It's a unique kind of vampire story because it's a vampire and unicorn story. Different, huh?
Different and clever. Pearl, the protagonist, is a vampire. And the vampires who inhabit the pages of this book are not like the nice vampires in other stories who refrain from drinking human blood or are really kind under all the fangs, white skin and black clothing.
